Suraj Nambiar and Mouni Roy tie the knot in a big wedding

Mouni Roy married Suraj Nambiar, a Dubai-based entrepreneur, in Goa, and the photographs have gone popular on social media. Mouni was dressed like a stunning Malayali bride in the first images from the wedding.

On Thursday, January 27, actor Mouni Roy married Dubai-based entrepreneur Suraj Nambiar in Goa. Fans and friends alike uploaded photos of Mouni dressed as a stunning South Indian bride on the internet. Yesterday, the haldi and mehendi ceremonies took place.

In one photo, Mouni is wearing a crimson and white saree with gold bangles, while Suraj is wearing a kurta and lungi. Suraj Nambiar ties a taali (similar to a mangalsutra) around her neck in another snap, while the couple is showered with flowers. After the rites, the pair shares a close hug in one photo.

The internet is exploding with jubilant photographs and videos from Mouni Roy’s wedding events, which have taken over social media. Mouni could be seen dancing with her husband-to-be, Suraj Nambiar, on the song Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali, in a video shared by her BFF, Rahul Shetty, on his Instagram stories. Her tasselled choli with a yellow backless choli and tasselled lehenga introduced a new trend for the mehendi event.

For the uninitiated, the bride-to-be, Mouni Roy, was photographed at the Mumbai airport on her way to her wedding location, Goa, on January 25, 2022. Her outfit was brown coordinating pants and a short blazer, black sneakers, a handbag, and black sunglasses. Her joy and brightness as a bride were palpable. Mouni had also shared a few anecdotes with her friends from the airport on her Instagram account.

Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar had organised a lavish party for their friends in Mumbai. However, in light of the COVID issue, they have decided to cancel it. Mouni would have two weddings, according to Bengali and South Indian customs, according to the story.
