Security tightened in Ayodhya for first Ram Navami post Ram Temple consecration

Ayodhya Tightens security for first Ram Navami since Ram Temple consecration

Security measures have been significantly intensified in Ayodhya as the Uttar Pradesh government gears up for the upcoming Ram Navami festivities, marking the first celebration since the consecration of the Ram Temple earlier this year.

Enhanced security for Grand Celebrations

Authorities anticipate a massive turnout of devotees for the grand celebration of Ram Navami in Ayodhya. To ensure the safety and smooth execution of the event, the police administration has implemented extensive security arrangements.

The police have devised comprehensive plans for crowd management, darshan, and traffic control. Various zones and sectors have been designated within the festival grounds for efficient management, with additional police personnel deployed to oversee security throughout the event.

Diverse security measures

In addition to the deployment of regular police personnel, special teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) have been assigned duties. Water police will monitor security along the Saryu River, while continuous surveillance will be maintained through CCTV cameras and aerial drones.

To facilitate safe darshan experiences, drop-down barriers and holding areas will be established along Ram Path. Traffic monitoring will be conducted using a network of CCTV cameras installed at key locations, with real-time analysis enabling prompt action as needed.

The heightened security measures underscore the government's commitment to ensuring the safety of devotees and the smooth conduct of the Ram Navami celebrations in Ayodhya. With comprehensive plans in place for crowd management, traffic control, and surveillance, authorities are prepared to handle the expected influx of devotees with efficiency and diligence.
