Praise for Operation Sindoor
CM Yogi Adityanath was in New Delhi for the NDA Chief Ministers’ Council meeting. He joined Union ministers and other chief ministers to listen to PM Modi’s latest Mann Ki Baat. In a post on social media platform X, Adityanath praised PM Modi’s remarks on Operation Sindoor, calling them a true expression of India’s strength and unity.
He said that 140 crore Indians stand together against terrorism and fully support the Indian Armed Forces. Yogi appreciated the courage shown by the soldiers and highlighted the role of Indian-made weapons and technology in the success of the operation. He said this mission represents a strong and self-reliant India.
He also described Operation Sindoor as a symbol of India’s firm decision to end terrorism. According to Yogi, such missions help build national pride and inspire the whole country. He thanked PM Modi for delivering such a motivating message through the programme.
Apart from national security, PM Modi also spoke about the amazing performance of young athletes from Uttar Pradesh in the recent Khelo India Youth Games 2025 held in Bihar. The chief minister congratulated the athletes who were mentioned by the PM, including:
-
Kadir Khan from Bareilly, who broke the national record in the 400-metre race not once but twice. He studies at FR Islamia Inter College and has brought great pride to his school and state.
-
Sheikh Zeeshan from Varanasi, who won a gold medal in triple jump. Despite coming from a financially weak background—his father is an auto-rickshaw driver—he overcame all challenges with dedication. He trained under Dr. Manzoor Alam Ansari at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium and set a new national record.
-
Tushar Chaudhary from Bijnor, the son of a farmer, won gold in the 102 kg weightlifting category by lifting a total of 289 kg. His hard work and determination were appreciated by both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.
Yogi Adityanath posted a message on X describing the success of these athletes as the result of their dedication, discipline, and tireless efforts. He said their achievements show how the Khelo India programme is growing stronger under the guidance of PM Modi.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for encouraging sports talent in Uttar Pradesh. He said such appreciation gives a big boost to young athletes and inspires many others to follow their path.
