Shah Rukh Khan hospitalised for heat stroke in Ahmedabad; Gauri Khan and Juhi Chawla visit

Actor Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized on Wednesday afternoon due to a heatstroke, reported by PTI. His wife, Gauri Khan, and close friend, Juhi Chawla, along with her husband, Jay Mehta, rushed to the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad after hearing the news. Videos shared by ANI on X (formerly Twitter) show a worried Gauri entering the hospital, accompanied by a security guard. Juhi and her husband were also seen leaving the hospital after visiting Shah Rukh. The family has not yet released an official statement about his condition.

Incident at IPL match

Shah Rukh Khan suffered the heatstroke during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Tuesday, where he was present to support his team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He attended the match with his children, Suhana and AbRam, and interacted with fans and players after KKR’s win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Suhana Khan also celebrated her birthday that day.

Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat confirmed Shah Rukh’s admission to the multi-speciality KD Hospital. The actor has been busy with three major film releases last year—Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki— and mentioned in a recent interview that he was working non-stop, which took a physical toll on him. He decided to focus on his IPL team this season and take a break from acting to recover. Further updates on Shah Rukh’s health are awaited.
