Death in Rewari Factory Boiler Blast rises to 14

Four workers have tragically lost their lives following a boiler blast at a spare parts manufacturing facility in Rewari, Haryana. The incident, which occurred on March 16 in the Dharuhera industrial area, left a total of 14 people dead and 40 others injured. 

Fatalities and investigation

Three of the deceased individuals passed away on Saturday at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak, while another succumbed to injuries on Sunday, according to Inspector Jagdish Chand, the Station House Officer of Dharuhera (Rewari) police station. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed condolences and assured a thorough investigation into the matter. He has ordered a magisterial probe to determine the cause of the blast and ensure appropriate actions are taken based on the findings.

Legal action and FIR

In response to the tragic incident, the police have initiated legal proceedings. A case has been registered against the contractor and others involved in the operation of the boiler. The decision to file the FIR came after a complaint was lodged by Raj Kumar, a laborer from Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district. The authorities are committed to holding those responsible accountable for the negligence that led to this devastating event.
