Pahalgam attack terrorist killed in Operation Mahadev: Jay Panda

Terrorist behind Pahalgam attack killed in Operation Mahadev, confirms BJP MP Jay Panda

BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda made a big statement in Parliament during the discussion on Operation Sindoor. He informed the House that a terrorist involved in the Pahalgam terror attack has been killed in Jammu and Kashmir during a major anti-terror operation named Operation Mahadev. “While we are having this discussion in Parliament, Operation Mahadev is going on. Three terrorists have been killed so far, and one of them was linked to the Pahalgam attack,” he said.

Panda also praised the Indian Air Force for carrying out strong strikes. According to him, for the first time ever, India attacked 11 airbases of a nuclear-armed country—clearly pointing at Pakistan—and destroyed 20% of its air force power. He said, “Over 100 Pakistani terrorists have been killed. Many of them were high-value targets. Pakistan’s plan to respond to India failed.”

He expressed disappointment that the Opposition parties did not appreciate the success of Indian forces. “It is painful to see that the Opposition did not even mention Pakistan’s failure in Operation Sindoor,” he added.

Criticism of Congress governments and Opposition MPs

Panda also attacked previous Congress governments for not responding strongly to terror attacks. He reminded the House about the 2005 Delhi blasts, the 2006 Varanasi bombings, and the 2008 Mumbai attacks. He said that in each of these cases, the Indian government failed to take strong action against Pakistan. “After the 2008 Mumbai attack, the armed forces had planned a counterattack, but the government did not allow it,” Panda claimed.

He also said that seven months after the Mumbai attack, the then Prime Minister met the Pakistani President and chose to continue peace talks. He accused past leaders of failing to protect Indian lives and interests. “Pakistan-sponsored terrorists were attacking and killing Indians regularly, but all India did was send dossiers or hold talks,” Panda said.

Taking a dig at Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, Panda said it was strange that he asked when India would get back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) or raised questions about China. “He even said India had bowed down, and his party leader often talks about surrendering. But the truth is, Congress has surrendered India’s interests many times in the past,” Panda said.

Panda ended his speech by asking the House to think seriously about how the country has handled national security in the past and how it should act in the future. He repeated his disappointment that the Opposition failed to support or even acknowledge the success of Indian forces in recent operations like Sindoor and Mahadev.

In his powerful speech, BJP MP Jay Panda highlighted the success of Indian armed forces in dealing with terrorists and criticized the Opposition for not appreciating their achievements. He gave details of India’s aggressive military response and accused previous governments of being soft on terror. His remarks were aimed at making people understand the need for strong action and unity when dealing with threats to the nation.
