Panchkula, June 26: Deputy Commissioner Sh Satpal Sharma has directed officials to accord top priority to grievances received through the Jan-Samvad Haryana portal and ensure that every complaint is resolved within the prescribed timeframe. He stressed that any laxity in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated.

    The Deputy Commissioner issued these directions while chairing a meeting of officers from various departments at the conference hall of  Mini Secretariat here today to review the status of grievances received through the Jan-Samvad Haryana portal. He emphasized the need for prompt and effective redressal of public complaints, reiterating that timely grievance resolution remains a key priority of the district administration.

        Earlier, Commissioner and Secretary, Haryana Women and Child Development Department Sh Shekhar Vidyarthi, chaired a video conference from Chandigarh with all Deputy Commissioners and concerned officials across the state. During the meeting, he conducted a detailed review of public grievances received through the Jan-Samvad Haryana portal and issued necessary directions to ensure their prompt resolution on a priority basis.

    While presenting the district's report, Deputy Commissioner Sh Satpal Sharma assured the Commissioner and Secretary that all grievances received through the Jan-Samvad Haryana portal, as well as other mediums, would be resolved within the stipulated timeframe. He further stated that all directions issued during the meeting would be implemented in letter and spirit.

    Following the video conference, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a comprehensive review of pending grievances across various departments and directed officials to ensure their prompt resolution. He reiterated that grievances received through the Jan-Samvad Haryana portal must be accorded top priority and resolved within the prescribed timeframe. He also reviewed complaints received through Samadhan Shivirs and the CM Window, issuing necessary directions to ensure their timely disposal.

    The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the prompt and effective redressal of public grievances is the district administration's highest priority. He directed officials to ensure that no complaint remains pending unnecessarily and warned that any negligence in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated. He further instructed all officers to review the Jan-Samvad Haryana portal daily and ensure that all complaints are resolved within the prescribed timeframe.

    The Deputy Commissioner said the administration is committed to ensuring that the benefits of the government's welfare schemes reach every eligible resident of the district. He called upon all officials to work in a coordinated manner to achieve this objective. He also directed them to intensify public awareness campaigns so that the maximum number of eligible beneficiaries can avail themselves of the government's welfare initiatives.

    Among those present in the meeting included SDM Panchkula Chanderkant Kataria, SDM Kalka Sanyam Garg, City Magistrate Jagriti, District Development and Panchayats Officer Vishal Parashar, EO Municipal Corporation Panchkula Nisha, District Forest Officer Vishal Kaushik, Tehsildar Suresh Kumar, Executive Engineer of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department Ashish Chauhan, Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Department Sameer Sharma, Executive Engineer Irrigation and Water Resources Department Deepak Mehra and concerned officers of various other departments.
