Haryana CM unveils meditation book

Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini launched a new book on meditation and self-care at the Yog Mahotsav 2025. The event was held at Indradhanush Stadium in Panchkula on Tuesday. The book is titled The Daily Pause – A Meditation Diary for Busy Lives. It has been written by inner wellness coach Madhu Pandit.

While launching the book, CM Saini said that this book will help people in today’s busy world. “It gives people a chance to pause, think, and reconnect with themselves,” he said.

Many important people attended the event. These included cabinet minister Arti Rao, AYUSH secretary Saket Kumar, and Haryana Yog Aayog chairman Jaideep Arya.

The book offers a simple guide to meditation and mental wellness. It is meant for working professionals, students, and anyone with a busy life. According to the author, it helps people deal with stress, improve their focus, and build mental strength.

Practical tips for daily life

The Daily Pause includes small exercises that are easy to do every day. These include breathing techniques, short meditations, and prompts for self-reflection. The aim is to help readers become calm, peaceful, and more aware of their thoughts and emotions.

The book is designed to be useful and practical. It takes ideas from ancient wisdom but presents them in a way that is easy to understand. The author said it is made for modern-day people who often feel overwhelmed or tired.

There are tips on how to feel more grounded, how to manage emotions, and how to improve clarity of thought. Each page of the diary encourages the reader to take a few minutes each day to reflect and feel better.

Overall, the launch of this book was seen as an important step towards promoting mental wellness in Haryana. With rising stress levels in everyday life, the government hopes such efforts will encourage people to take better care of their minds and bodies.
