Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini opened a major state-level exhibition in Panchkula on Thursday. The event was held at the PWD rest house and was organized to show the achievements of the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership over the past 11 years. The exhibition is part of a wider campaign to inform the public about various development works carried out by the government.
The Chief Minister said that the exhibition is not just a display of photos and models. He said it tells a strong and inspiring story of India’s growth and transformation. According to him, the journey of development has been possible due to the strong will and clear vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM Saini described the exhibition as a “saga of the country’s development”, showing how India has changed in many ways since 2014.
He also said that people should visit this exhibition to understand the hard work done by the government in different areas. It reflects how the government has worked to improve lives, especially for the poor and the common people.
A theme of progress
The exhibition is based on the theme “Sankalp se Siddhi,” which means “from resolve to achievement.” This theme highlights how firm determination and clear goals have led to real results for the country. The idea is to inspire people to believe that development is possible if the intention and action are strong and honest.
The exhibition showcases progress in different fields, especially in infrastructure. Big posters, charts, videos, and models explain the work done in building roads, highways, railways, bridges, airports, and more. It also includes information on housing projects, schemes for farmers, health care improvements, and support for small businesses.
One section of the exhibition focuses on Digital India and how the use of technology has helped citizens in daily life. It shows how people in villages now get access to online services, health apps, and e-governance. It also explains how farmers are getting weather updates and crop advice through mobile apps.
Another section highlights schemes like the Ujjwala Yojana, which has given free cooking gas connections to poor families, and the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which provides free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh per year to low-income families.
There is also a part of the exhibition that celebrates India’s international image. It talks about how India’s respect has grown across the world, and how global leaders now look at India as a strong and stable partner in world affairs.
CM Saini said that these achievements are not limited to just numbers or announcements. “We are seeing real change on the ground,” he said. “Roads are being built, electricity is reaching villages, toilets have been made in every home, and women’s lives are changing.”
He added that this change has been possible only because the government took strong decisions and followed through on them. The CM said that Haryana has also benefited greatly from central schemes and that the state government is fully supporting the centre’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat”—a developed India.
The exhibition also has live demonstrations, videos, and photo booths where people can interact and learn. Some stalls show before-and-after pictures of areas that have seen major development. For example, one stall shows how rural roads looked a decade ago and how they look now with concrete surfaces and proper markings.

Feedback from visitors
Many visitors came to the exhibition on the first day. Some were students, while others were common citizens, retired government workers, and local businessmen. Most of them said they were surprised to see the wide range of work done in just 11 years.
A retired school teacher, Rajinder Kumar, said, “I have lived through many governments. But the scale of work shown here is very impressive. Whether it is about gas connections or roads or housing, there has been real improvement.”
Another visitor, Meena Rani, said, “The stall about women’s welfare was very touching. I saw details about schemes like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, and it made me feel proud as a woman.”
Several young visitors also said that the Digital India section gave them new knowledge. They didn’t know that so many services were available online now. Some students said they felt inspired to work in public service or administration after visiting the exhibition.
One of the highlights was a digital board where people could write their own “sankalp” or resolution. Many people wrote messages like “I will keep my city clean,” or “I will help poor children study.” The idea is to involve citizens in the development journey and make them feel responsible for the country’s future.
Officials from the state government and the district administration were also present at the event. They guided visitors and answered questions about various schemes and how to apply for them. Brochures were given out at each stall with basic information and contact numbers.
There were also selfie points for visitors to click photos with the national flag or slogans like “Modi for Development” or “New India.” Children were given stickers and badges carrying messages of cleanliness, women empowerment, and digital progress.
The exhibition will remain open for several days, and people from nearby districts are also expected to visit. Special arrangements have been made for school visits so that students can learn about government work in a fun and interactive way.
In the end, Chief Minister Saini said that this exhibition is not only about the past 11 years. It is about the direction the country is moving toward. “We are on a journey to make India strong, self-reliant, and developed,” he said. “This is a celebration of what has been done and a promise of what more is to come.”
He urged every citizen of Haryana to visit the exhibition and take pride in the nation’s growth. “Let this exhibition motivate us to work harder and support our government in making India the best in the world,” he said before concluding his speech.
The event received coverage from local media and was shared widely on social media platforms by BJP supporters and government officials. Videos from the exhibition were trending on several local WhatsApp groups and Facebook pages, further boosting public interest.
Officials said the exhibition will now travel to other major towns in Haryana, including Hisar, Karnal, Rohtak, and Gurugram, to reach more people and spread awareness about the development journey.
