TS Inter results 2026 declared, 10 students share top rank in both years

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced the TS Inter Results 2026 for both first year and second year students. Thousands of students across the state had been waiting for the results, and the announcement has now brought excitement, relief, and celebration to many homes.
This year, a total of 10 students secured the top position in the first year exams, while another 10 students shared the highest rank in the second year exams. The results also showed that girls performed better than boys in both categories.
According to official data, the overall pass percentage for first year students stood at 66.20 per cent. For second year students, the pass percentage was higher at 70.58 per cent.
Students can now check their marks and download scorecards through the official result websites of the board.
In the first year exams, several students scored 496 marks to jointly claim the first rank. In the second year exams, 10 students scored 997 marks each and shared the top position.
Education officials congratulated the students and said the results reflected hard work by students, teachers, and parents.
The Telangana Inter examinations are among the most important public exams in the state. First year and second year marks are considered valuable for higher studies, entrance exams, and future academic planning.
Toppers and pass percentage
In the TS Inter first year examinations, 10 students scored the highest marks of 496. These students included Doonur Varsha, Chapala Abhishek, Banavath Nandhu Nayak, Katkuri Eeshwara Krishna Sai, Ravula Deepika Sharanya, Bejugam Sindhu, Divya Kachawa, Pamarthi Harshitha, Velidhandla Dharani Datta, and M Charlesh.
All of them shared the top rank because they received the same score.
In the second year examinations, 10 students also shared first place with 997 marks each. These students included Koyya Jyoshna, Teegala Sai Shreshtitha, Hafsa Begum, Chintala Florence Ruth, Potru Priyalaxmi, Korukandla Pallavi, Gopathi Hyndavi, Kambhampati Rohini, Dadi Pranavi, and Mandapally Mrudula.
Their strong performance has brought pride to their schools and families.
The results also showed a clear trend in favour of girl students.
In second year results, girls recorded a pass percentage of 78.65 per cent, while boys recorded 62.50 per cent.
In first year results, girls achieved 74.40 per cent, while boys stood at 57.69 per cent.
This means girls outperformed boys in both academic years by a significant margin.
Officials often say that consistent study habits, discipline, and attendance play an important role in such results.
Compared with previous years, the second year pass percentage remained stable and competitive.
Many students who passed successfully will now begin applying for degree courses, professional colleges, and entrance examinations.

Students can download their TS Inter marks memo from the official websites of the Telangana board.

To download the scorecard, students need to visit any of these websites and click on the result link for first year or second year.
They must then enter required details such as registration number, roll number, and date of birth.

It is advisable to download the scorecard PDF and keep a printed copy for future use.
The online marks memo can be used for admission purposes until original documents are issued by schools or colleges.
Students who are unhappy with their marks may also get options such as revaluation, recounting, or supplementary exams, depending on board rules and announcements.
Teachers have advised students not to panic if scores are lower than expected. They say one exam result does not decide a student’s full future.
