Quarterly Pension Adalat Held at Sangrur

Sangrur, 18 December: A Quarterly Pension Adalat was organized in Sangrur under the chairmanship of Dr. Mandeep Singh, Joint Controller, Office of the Chief Controller of Accounts (CCA), Punjab, Chandigarh.

During the Pension Adalat, a total of five pension-related grievances were received from pensioners. Of these, four grievances were disposed of on the spot after due examination and interaction with the concerned officials. One grievance pertained to BSNL and was forwarded to the BSNL authorities for necessary action.

In addition to grievance redressal, the program featured special awareness sessions for the benefit of pensioners. These sessions covered important topics such as health and wellness, yoga, cybercrime awareness, and investment awareness, aimed at promoting a healthy, secure, and informed lifestyle among pensioners. Contributing to environmental protection, the office also distributed tree saplings to pensioners and their families during the program.

Senior officers from BSNL and the Office of CCA, Punjab were present during the Adalat and actively participated in addressing the concerns of pensioners.

The Pension Adalat provided a constructive platform for direct interaction between pensioners and officials, ensuring the prompt resolution of issues and the dissemination of useful information.
