The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for the first round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. This counselling is for students who passed the NEET UG 2025 exam and want to get admission in undergraduate medical courses like MBBS and BDS.

NEET UG counselling for 2025 will happen in four rounds:

The last date to register for round 1 is July 28, 2025. Candidates also have to fill and lock their choices of colleges between July 22 and July 28.

Once the choices are locked, the seat allotment process for the first round will be held between July 29 and July 30. The provisional results of round 1 will be out on July 31, and the final results will be released between August 1 and August 6, 2025.

All candidates who qualified NEET UG 2025 and want to study in government or private medical colleges in India under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) or in central universities must participate in this counselling process.

Registration Fee Structure

For candidates applying under the 15% All India Quota and central universities, the registration fees are as follows:

  • General Category: ₹1,000

  • Reserved Categories (SC, ST, OBC, PwD): ₹500

It is important to note that this fee is only for registration. A refundable security deposit will also be required later during seat allotment and admission.
