Evening Water Supply at low pressure on 3rd & 4th April

Chandigarh, 02 April: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh has informed that due to the replacement of the 1200 mm diameter PSC pipeline (Phase-III) with a spiral welded MS pipeline at Vidhya Valley and Shivalik Park, a shutdown has been approved by the competent authority from 03.04.2026 to 04.04.2026 (48 hours).

During this period, pumping of raw water from Phase-III Kajauli to Water Works Sector-39, Chandigarh will remain suspended. Therefore, the water supply timings in the entire city of Chandigarh during these two days will be regulated as under:

03.04.2026
Morning Supply: 03:30 AM to 09:00 AM — Water supply at full pressure.
Evening Supply: 06:00 PM to 08:30 PM — Water supply at low pressure.

04.04.2026
Morning Supply: 03:30 AM to 09:00 AM — Water supply at full pressure.
Evening Supply: 06:00 PM to 08:30 PM — Water supply at low pressure.

Residents are requested to store adequate water and cooperate with the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh during the shutdown period.
