Aaqib Javed compares Jasprit Bumrah to Usman Tariq, sparks debate after unusual remark

A surprising remark by Pakistan cricket selector Aaqib Javed has triggered a major debate among cricket fans and experts. Javed recently compared India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah to Pakistan’s spinner Usman Tariq, calling Bumrah “the Usman Tariq of fast bowlers.”

Javed also mentioned that Usman Tariq showed a similar ability to confuse batters during the World Cup. Tariq’s bowling includes a distinctive pause before delivering the ball, which often leaves batters guessing about the timing and direction of the delivery.
