Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, has tested positive for coronavirus and is being treated at home by doctors, according to CMO.
According to a tweet from the Chief Minister’s Office in Hindi, the Chief Minister has urged everyone to take precautions against the virus.
“Covid test of Honorable Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar came positive. He is under home isolation as per the physicians’ orders. He has urged everyone to protect themselves from the virus “Bihar’s CMO stated in a tweet.
COVID-19 was found in 11 of the people who were present at Mr. Kumar’s house. 6 of them were intended to be part of the Chief Minister’s public interaction programme, while the rest were catering staff members.
