In a big change, Air India Express is bringing back all its cabin crew who were let go because many of them suddenly got sick. This decision follows a meeting between the airline's bosses and the crew who were upset about losing their jobs.

Crisis due to sick leave

Recently, Air India Express faced a big problem when lots of cabin crew called in sick without warning. This caused over 100 flights to be canceled, leaving many passengers stranded. The situation got worse when the airline said those still calling in sick might lose their jobs. This put pressure on the crew to return to work.

To help the stranded passengers, the airline made a new plan for flights and offered other options for travel. Even with these changes, there weren't enough cabin crew, so more flights had to be canceled. On Thursday, the airline had to cancel 85 flights, which is about 20% of its daily flights. But it promised to work with Air India to run 283 flights that day on different routes.

Reinstating cabin crew
