The Amritsar district court has extended the police remand of Laljit Singh Bhullar, a former Punjab minister and current MLA from Patti, by three more days in connection with a high-profile suicide case. The case relates to the death of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) district manager Gagandeep Singh Randhawa.
Bhullar was produced before the court after completing his earlier five-day police remand. During the hearing, the police requested an extension of five more days, stating that further investigation was required. However, after considering arguments from both sides, the court granted only a three-day extension.
