Fans of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna received a pleasant surprise as the makers of the upcoming film Ranabaali released a special glimpse of the first song titled Endhayya Saami. The short teaser has quickly grabbed attention online because the popular on-screen pair appear completely transformed in their historical roles.
The makers dropped both a new poster and a 1-minute-20-second video from the film, giving audiences their first proper look at the film’s world. The song visually presents the wedding of the lead characters, Ranabaal and Jayamma, and highlights the romantic chemistry between Vijay and Rashmika. The release has created fresh excitement among fans who have been waiting to see the duo reunite on screen.
The teaser opens with a traditional wedding ceremony, setting the tone for the emotional and romantic journey of the characters. In the video, rituals are performed for Ranabaal and Jayamma, and the visuals carry a rich period feel. One of the early moments shows Jayamma entering the house with a ceremonial kalash, symbolising the beginning of married life.
As the teaser progresses, viewers see several soft romantic moments between the couple. Their chemistry, which was loved in their earlier films, appears strong once again. The makers also included a warm congratulatory message for the pair, which added to the emotional appeal of the release.
Musically, the song has already generated buzz. The composition is by the famous duo Ajay–Atul, known for their grand musical style. The Hindi version of the track is titled O Mere Sajan, and it features the voices of Shweta Mohan and Javed Ali. Lyrics have been written by Kshitij Patwardhan. Though only a short preview has been released, the melody hints at a rich and emotional soundtrack.

One of the biggest talking points of the teaser is the dramatic transformation of the lead actors. Vijay Deverakonda appears in a royal avatar that is very different from his usual modern roles. Since the story is set in the year 1878, his character is styled like a king from that era.
In the visuals, Vijay wears a traditional dhoti with a draped cloth, along with long hair, earrings, and a thick moustache. His serious expression adds intensity to the character of Ranabaal. Fans online have particularly praised his rugged royal look, calling it one of his most unique appearances so far.
Rashmika Mandanna, meanwhile, is seen as the graceful bride Jayamma. She wears a rich red saree and traditional jewellery, perfectly matching the historical setting of the film. Her slightly nervous yet soft expressions in the teaser add emotional depth to her character. Together, the pair create a visually striking presence.
Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityayan, is described as a historical drama inspired by the history of the Rayalaseema region. The film aims to blend romance, drama, and period storytelling on a large cinematic scale. The makers have also revealed that Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo will play the main antagonist, which has further increased curiosity about the project.
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 11, 2026. With several months still to go, the early promotional material suggests that the makers are planning a grand build-up toward the release.
For Vijay and Rashmika, Ranabaali marks their third film together. The pair previously shared screen space in the hit romantic comedy Geetha Govindam and the intense sports drama Dear Comrade. Both films were well received and helped build their strong fan following as an on-screen couple.
Because of that history, expectations from Ranabaali are naturally high. Fans are especially excited to see how their chemistry translates into a full-scale historical setting, which is new territory for the pair.
