Conservative commentator Candace Owens is once again at the center of online debate after one of her past conspiracy claims resurfaced. The old video clip began trending shortly after US President Donald Trump announced that his administration would move forward with releasing government files related to UFOs and extraterrestrial life.
In the resurfaced clip, Owens claimed that tech leaders like Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and Peter Thiel were not fully human. She suggested that they might be “hybrids” and said there was something unusual about their appearance, especially their eyes. She even questioned whether they bled like normal humans. The comments were originally made in October 2025 but gained fresh attention after Trump’s announcement about UFO records.
Trump posted on his social media platform that, due to growing public interest, he would direct officials to begin identifying and releasing government files related to alien life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). His message came shortly after former president Barack Obama had spoken publicly about the possibility of extraterrestrial life. Trump accused Obama of revealing sensitive information and said the public deserved to know the truth.
In her earlier statements, Owens described Musk, Altman, and Thiel as part of what she called a transhumanist movement. She claimed they wanted to use artificial intelligence and advanced technology to control humanity. According to her, there was a “dark” and “demonic” presence around them. However, she did not provide any evidence to support these serious claims.
Owens has often been associated with controversial theories. Following the tragic shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, she made several bold claims about possible hidden forces and secret interventions. Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA, was fatally shot during an event in September 2025. The incident shocked the conservative political community in the United States.
After his death, Owens shared multiple theories online. Some of her remarks were widely criticized for lacking proof. Despite the backlash, her posts attracted massive attention and went viral on social media platforms. Even Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, and leaders of Turning Point USA were drawn into public debates sparked by Owens’ comments.
Now, with Trump promising to release UFO-related documents, internet users have started linking her previous alien remarks with the President’s announcement. Many users shared the old clip on X and other platforms. Some mocked her statements, while others joked that she might “finally be proven right” if the files reveal shocking information.
One social media user sarcastically wrote that perhaps Owens would be the one to uncover the real truth about aliens. Another joked that if Musk, Altman, and Thiel were alien cyborgs, the upcoming files might show which spaceship they landed in. Many others criticized the conspiracy-style thinking and said it distracted from real issues.
