A major political controversy unfolded in the United States after conservative commentator Laura Loomer accused Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) of lying about a bomb threat. The dispute began when Greene claimed that her construction company office in Georgia received a pipe bomb threat. She posted a long message on social media platform X, connecting the alleged threat to her recent conflict with former President Donald Trump.
The argument between Greene and Trump has been growing in recent weeks. Greene, who was once a strong supporter of Trump, has faced criticism from Trump’s inner circle. The latest tension began after she supported the release of the Epstein files—documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. Trump withdrew his endorsement of Greene after her vote, and their disagreement quickly became public.
In her post, Greene said that her home and family members were being targeted with “hoax pizza deliveries.” This act, called “pizza doxxing,” is a type of harassment where unwanted food deliveries are sent to someone’s address, showing that the sender knows personal information. Greene said that this harassment escalated into a pipe bomb threat at her construction company’s office.
According to Greene, the situation was becoming dangerous. She wrote that Trump’s “vicious attacks” against her encouraged “radicals” to target her. She added that she had already experienced many threats in the past, including swatting calls and serious death threats. Greene claimed that several people had been convicted for threatening her.
She strongly implied that the current threats were connected to Trump’s recent statements and the fallout between them. Greene also criticized the left wing, repeating that her earlier threats came from political opponents. Her latest post suggested that the new threats were happening because Trump’s supporters had turned against her.
After Greene shared her post, Laura Loomer responded publicly. Loomer, a longtime Trump supporter who often clashes with Greene, said she contacted the police in Rome, Georgia, where MTG’s construction company office is located. Loomer claimed that the police told her there was no record of any bomb threat reported on the day Greene mentioned.
Loomer said she had recorded her phone call with the police department and even had a video of the conversation. She insisted that the police officer clearly said they had not received any bomb threat report and were unaware of any such incident. According to Loomer, the officer stated that if there had been a bomb threat, they would have been informed immediately.
Loomer accused Greene of making up the story. She wrote that she did not want to post the video recording because she feared Greene would try to get the officer fired for telling the truth. She claimed that Greene was trying to gain sympathy by blaming Trump for a threat that never happened.
Loomer also highlighted that in real cases of bomb threats, police usually post public updates on social media or release official statements. No such update was issued by the Rome police on the day Greene claimed the threat occurred. Loomer argued that this was further proof that Greene’s claims were false.

Tagging Greene directly in her post, Loomer wrote, “you need to stop lying.” She said it was unacceptable for a member of Congress to invent threats and mislead the public. Loomer added that the people of Greene’s own district deserved honesty and clarity, not fear and confusion.
The disagreement did not end there. Loomer also criticized Thomas Massie, another Republican lawmaker who has recently faced tension with Trump. She questioned aspects of his personal life as part of her wider commentary about Republicans who have fallen out with Trump. Loomer’s posts show that she is strongly aligned with Trump’s current political circle and is willing to challenge lawmakers who oppose him.
MTG, Trump, and Loomer have all been influential voices within the Republican Party, but these internal conflicts highlight growing divisions. What began as a disagreement over Epstein files has now expanded into a public dispute involving threats, accusations, and police inquiries.
At the center of the controversy is the question: Did a bomb threat actually happen? Greene insists she and her family are being targeted because Trump criticized her publicly. Loomer insists Greene is lying and points to her conversation with police as proof.
As of now, law enforcement has not confirmed any bomb threat. Greene has not shared additional evidence of the alleged incident. Trump, on the other hand, has not publicly commented on Greene’s latest claims, but he has already withdrawn his political support for her.
The situation reflects the deep political divisions not only between parties but also within the Republican Party itself. With the US elections approaching, internal disputes like these may shape the future of political alliances and public trust. Whether Greene’s claims are proven true or false, the controversy has already created significant tension and raised questions about honesty, safety, and political loyalty within the party.
