Apart from these, results were announced for M.Com, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, and professional programs like Library and Information Sciences (M.Lib.I.Sc., B.Lib.I.Sc., M.L.I.Sc.). Courses like Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), and Master of Tourism Management (MTM) were also included.
For candidates who want to check their results, the process is simple and entirely online. They need to visit the official TG CPGET website at https://cpget.tgche.ac.in/. On the homepage, they should click on the link for ‘Download Rank Card’ or ‘Results’. By entering their hall ticket number, registration number, and date of birth, candidates can view their results and rank card. It is advised to download and print the rank card for use during counselling and admissions.
With the declaration of results, the focus now shifts to the counselling and seat allotment process. This will involve certificate verification and web-based options for selecting courses and universities. The counselling schedule is expected to be announced soon on the official website, and students are advised to keep checking regularly for updates.
The TG CPGET plays an important role in ensuring a transparent and fair admission process. By conducting centralized entrance tests for nine major universities in Telangana, the exam gives equal opportunities to students across the state. Admissions are based entirely on merit, making it a reliable mechanism for entry into postgraduate education.
The declaration of results is only the first step in the journey for students aspiring to pursue higher education through TG CPGET. Counselling is the most crucial stage, as it decides seat allotments in different universities based on merit and preferences. Students need to carefully prepare their documents for verification, including academic certificates, caste and income certificates (if applicable), and identification documents.
Once counselling begins, candidates will be able to select courses and universities of their choice through an online web options process. The system will then allot seats based on merit ranks, reservation rules, and availability. Students who are allotted seats will have to report to their respective universities within the given time to confirm their admission.
This process not only ensures fairness but also saves students from the hassle of applying separately to multiple universities. By having one common entrance and counselling system, the TG CPGET simplifies the admission procedure.

With integrated five-year courses also included, younger students fresh out of intermediate education now have a chance to enter long-term programs that combine undergraduate and postgraduate learning.
The Telangana government and participating universities see the TG CPGET as a key tool for promoting accessibility and fairness in higher education. As universities prepare to welcome the new batch of postgraduate students, this system is expected to benefit candidates from diverse backgrounds.
The coming weeks will be crucial for aspirants, as the counselling schedule is released and students finalize their choices. For now, candidates are advised to stay updated through the official website and make sure all documents are ready for the verification process.
In summary, TG CPGET 2025 has completed its first phase successfully with the declaration of results. The next stage of counselling and admissions will soon decide the academic futures of thousands of students across Telangana.
