Gaya, Bihar – Expelled RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav has accused Congress leaders of involvement in an alleged assault on a media journalist and a driver of MLA Vijay Kumar Singh during the ongoing ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar. The yatra, which began from Sasaram on Sunday, is a 16-day campaign organized by the Congress party to protest against the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list and alleged ‘vote chori’ in Bihar.
The incident reportedly took place in Nabinagar, Aurangabad district, where Tej Pratap claimed that the journalist and the MLA’s driver were beaten and abused by supporters of the Congress leaders. He added that the behavior of the people around them, particularly an individual named Jaychand, was “extremely wrong and shameful.” He warned that Tejashwi should be careful about the people around him, hinting that mishandling such incidents could impact the election results.
