Popular Bollywood actor Ronit Roy has made a surprising statement related to the stabbing incident involving Saif Ali Khan. In a recent interview, he revealed that Kareena Kapoor Khan’s car was attacked soon after Saif was assaulted. This new detail has shocked fans and added another layer to the already serious incident.
Ronit, who also runs a private security agency, was in charge of Saif and Kareena’s security at the time. He shared that although Kareena was not physically hurt, she was very scared and shaken after the attack.
Speaking to Hindi Rush, Ronit recalled the dramatic moments that followed the attack. He said, “Saif had just been discharged from the hospital and was on his way home. The media and crowd were everywhere.”
He continued, “Kareena was also returning home from the hospital when her car was surrounded by people and the media. The crowd got too close and her car was even shaken a little. She got scared and asked me to pick up Saif and bring him home safely.”
Ronit said that by the time Saif reached home, a full security team had been deployed, and they also got strong support from the Mumbai Police. He confirmed that now everything is safe and under control.
Ronit Roy also shared that after these incidents, he visited Saif and Kareena’s Bandra home and found that security measures were not strong enough. He immediately advised the couple to upgrade their home security, which they agreed to do.
“There were a few gaps in the safety system,” Ronit said. “After my recommendation, they improved the setup, and now they have proper protection in place.”
On January 16, actor Saif Ali Khan was the victim of a violent knife attack. The incident took place at his Bandra residence late at night. According to reports, a man entered the property in an attempt to rob, and during the chaos, Saif was stabbed several times.
At the time of the attack, Saif was trying to protect his youngest son Jeh, which made the situation even more dangerous. After the assault, he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he had to undergo emergency surgery.
Doctors later removed a 2.5-inch blade fragment from his spine during a five-hour operation. Thankfully, the actor recovered well after the surgery.
Following a detailed investigation, the Mumbai Police successfully tracked down the attacker. The man was arrested and is now facing legal action. Police confirmed that the motive behind the attack was robbery.
The quick response by the law enforcement agencies and Ronit Roy’s security team helped manage the situation after the attack and ensured the safety of both Saif and Kareena.
Although Kareena Kapoor Khan did not suffer any physical injuries, the emotional toll of the back-to-back incidents was significant. Ronit said that the event left her frightened, especially because it happened so soon after Saif’s release from the hospital.
The crowd and media outside the hospital made it difficult for her to travel calmly. Ronit praised Kareena’s presence of mind for quickly requesting help and making sure her husband got home safely.
