
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the round 2 registration for NEET MDS Counselling 2025. Candidates who missed applying in the first round now have another chance to participate. To apply, visit the official website — mcc.nic.in. The registration window is open now and will close on July 15, 2025.
If a candidate had resigned or did not report after round 1 seat allotment, they do not need to register again. Only fresh candidates or those who were not allotted any seats earlier should apply in this round.
Here are the key dates for NEET MDS Counselling 2025 Round 2:
Last date to register: July 15, 2025
Choice filling and locking: July 13 to July 16, 2025
Seat allotment result: July 18, 2025
Reporting to colleges: July 19 to July 27, 2025
During the choice filling window, candidates can select their preferred dental or medical colleges and MDS courses, and must lock their choices before the deadline.
Follow these steps to complete your registration for NEET MDS Round 2:
Visit the official MCC website: mcc.nic.in
Click on the 'MDS' section on the homepage
Select the 'Registration' option
You will be redirected to a new registration page
Enter the following details:
Roll Number
Application Number
Candidate Name
Mother’s Name
Date of Birth
Security PIN
Submit the form
Choose your preferred colleges and courses
Lock your choices before the deadline
Make sure to double-check all your information and choices before locking, as no changes can be made after that.
To complete the registration, candidates must pay a registration fee and a security deposit, depending on their category:
General and EWS candidates:
Registration fee: ₹1,000 (non-refundable)
Security deposit: ₹25,000 (refundable)
SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates:
Registration fee: ₹500 (non-refundable)
Security deposit: ₹10,000 (refundable)

These payments are to be made online during the registration process. The security deposit will be refunded after counselling is over, provided the candidate follows all rules and completes the process.
The seat allotment result for round 2 will be released on July 18, 2025 on the MCC website. After the results are out, candidates who are allotted a seat must report in person to the assigned college or institute.
The reporting period is from July 19 to July 27, 2025. During this time, candidates must carry their original documents to the college. These may include:
NEET MDS admit card
Rank letter
Counselling registration slip
ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
Educational certificates
Category certificate (if applicable)
Fee payment receipt
Failure to report on time or submit the required documents can result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Candidates who did not register in round 1
Candidates who registered but were not allotted any seat in round 1
Candidates who were not satisfied with their round 1 seat and want to upgrade (if already registered)
Candidates who did not join after round 1 allotment
Candidates who have already joined a seat through round 1 but want to upgrade must participate in round 2 choice filling, but do not need to re-register.
