Special camps to be held from June 27 to 30 at Sector-20, MDC Sector-5 and Municipal Corporation Office, Sector-4
Panchkula, June 24: The Municipal Corporation, Panchkula, is set to organize four-day special camps from June 27 to June 30, 2026, offering citizens a significant opportunity to clear their pending property tax dues with a 100 per cent waiver on the interest component.
Sharing details, Joint Commissioner-II Sh Gaurav Chauhan said that as per the directions of the Government and the Municipal Corporation, property owners with outstanding property tax dues up to the financial year 2024-25 will be eligible for a complete waiver of interest on the outstanding amount if they make the payment during these special camps.
He further informed that apart from the interest waiver benefit, various property-related issues will also be addressed on the spot. Citizens can get objections related to their properties resolved, complete property self-certification, and pay their property tax during the camps. A banking facility will also be available at the venue for on-the-spot deposit of tax payments.
Camp Venues and Timings
The camps will be organized at the Community Centre, Sector-20; Community Centre, MDC Sector-5; and a Special Mega Camp at the Municipal Corporation Office, Sector-4. All camps will be held from June 27 to June 30, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily.
Appealing to residents, business establishments, and institutional property owners, Sh Gaurav Chauhan urged them to take advantage of the special camps, avail themselves of the 100 per cent interest waiver, complete self-certification of their properties, and contribute to the city's development by ensuring timely payment of property taxes.
